Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (m/f) – Luanda

Main Responsibilities
- Lead the monitoring and evaluation activities of the project, ensuring accurate tracking of performance and impact indicators
- Design and implement M&E frameworks aligned with the project objectives and sectoral best practices
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to project performance, ensuring quality and consistency
- Support the team in evidence-based decision-making through regular monitoring reports and recommendations
- Liaise with project stakeholders and contribute to the preparation of reports for donors and authorities
- Identify risks and deviations in implementation and propose corrective measures
What are we looking for?
- First Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Finance, Management, or Economics (post-graduate qualifications in a relevant area are a plus)
- Minimum 10 years of general professional experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of projects, preferably in infrastructure or the water sector
- Experience in monitoring performance indicators in the water sector is an advantage
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in African countries;
- Experience in Angola is an advantage
- Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory) and working proficiency in English
