Developed with the aim of supporting schools in addressing the issue of water, these online education-through-play workshops aim to make young people aware of issues relating to their water footprint, conscious consumption, and the inherent value of water supply and wastewater treatment services.
An impactful journey through the impact these microorganisms have in the circular economy of water and the entire planet. The value of water literally seen under the microscope and revealed to the eyes of the entire community.
These online synchronous actions will allowparticipants to observe, in real time, the microscopic images on the screen that the trainer, on the other side, will be observing. An invisible world to be revealed with each drop of water examined, which can be applied to the National Plan for the Circular Economy in Portugal.
Using an educational and proximity approach, INDAQUA promotes various initiatives within the communities, aimed at enhancing more civic, ecological and sustainable attitudes and behaviour, reinforcing environmental awareness and strengthening respect for the environment, as well as raising awareness of the value of water and encouraging the consumption of tap water as a safe option.
At the centre of this dynamic is the school community, which plays a key role in the way we approach the environment as a society and, in particular, the sustainability of the planet’s water resources, for whom the “Minimal H2Organisms” project was designed.
